Carrier companies face rather serious seasonal fluctuations, thus they can propose more or less economic prices on their services.

Air traffic is the most expensive, but the most expeditious type of freight hauling. Sea and motor transport as well as carriage by railway cost much cheaper, but the freight is en route for days and even weeks. Much lower costs the delivery of consolidated cargo: this is the case, when in addition to your cargo the container / truck / wagon is filled up with the other clients’ cargo.

When the freight hauling is urgent, then you have to choose among expensive scenarios. In case the date of delivery is not so critical, more attainable types of transportation can be used, and you can wait for the advantageous economical proposal from a carrier company.

This clause, obviously, goes without explanation: the higher is the cargo’s volume and weight, the more expensive is it’s delivery.

Each freight has its own unique parameters. But there are some cases when the freight demands special storage conditions, exceptional delicacy in transportation or warehousing, even individual route matching and the use of additional non-standard equipment. All these factors exert strong influence on the prices of cargo transportation.
